Ernest L. Strother, Jr.
A dynamic leader with extensive entrepreneurial management experience, Ernest Strother is the co-founder, CEO and Chairman of Strother Enterprises and its three subsidiaries. In this role, he facilitates the development of the company’s business and financial relationships.
Since the company’s inception in 1987, Ernest has been instrumental in leading the company’s development, including establishing several joint venture relationships with national corporations such as ARAMARK and Kvaerner Philadelphia Shipyard Inc. Strother graduated from Saint Joseph’s University and attended the MBA program at Drexel University.
Robert G. Strother
Philadelphia native Robert Strother, together with his brother Ernest, founded Strother Food Service Company in January 1987 as a catering company. Under Robert’s leadership, Strother Enterprises assumed full profit and loss responsibility for the U.S. Department of Labor Job Corp. training program in March 1990. The operation generated $700,000 in revenue in 1989 and employed ten full time employees, including up to 100 part-time employees for catered events.
Strategically, Robert utilized his executive talents to work with the Opportunities Industrialization Center, Inc. to have the organization provide a pipeline of trained students for the company’s diversified service work force. In 1998, he was promoted to his current position of President and COO of Strother Enterprises. Strother graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a B.S. in political science, and he went on to attend the MBA program at Drexel University.
Michael S. Jackson
Vice President, General Counsel
Since 2000, Michael S. Jackson has served as vice president and general counsel for Strother Enterprises. Previously, Jackson was a partner in the corporate department at the Philadelphia-based law firm of Connolly Epstein Chicco Foxman & Engelmeyer. Jackson has significant experience in real estate syndications and the securities law aspects of commercial real estate transactions. Additionally, Jackson has been involved in general business representation and commercial and corporate transactional work, including acquisitions, equity and debt financing, and real estate. His legal expertise has facilitated his coordination of more than $50 million in private placement offerings.
Jackson is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New York and the Eastern District of the Pennsylvania U.S. District Court, and he holds degrees from Princeton University and Harvard Law School.
Natasha D. Strother
Executive Vice President
Natasha brings more than ten years of experience in driving growth strategies and business development opportunities. As Executive Vice President of Strother Enterprises, Natasha leads the firm’s corporate strategy, financial structuring and business development for three operating subsidiaries. Notably, she added $1 million in revenue by fostering Strother Enterprises’ entrance into fulfillment services.
Natasha holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Lafayette College and an MBA in finance from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and Management. In addition to her work at Strother Enterprises, Natasha serves on the Lafayette College Board of Trustee’s Leadership Council, Philadelphia Academies, Inc.’s Board of Governors and Presbyterian Children’s Village Board of Directors.
